Mastering SharePoint Framework Content Complete (preview pricing expires July 1)

Today marks a big milestone. Sprint 19 is complete and published - it contains the final two chapters published in my Mastering the SharePoint Framework Ultimate bundle!

The first of these chapters, Sharing Code between SharePoint Framework Solutions, explains and demonstrates how to use either SPFx library components or NPM packages to share code across SPFx projects. The other chapter, Property Panes for Client-Side Web Parts: Create Property Controls, demonstrates how to create custom property pane controls for web part projects.

These two chapters, in addition to the two DevOps chapters published in the last month (on CI/CD & continuous monitoring), bring us to the “Content Complete” milestone. All the chapters planned for the Starter, Fundamentals & Ultimate bundles of the course have now been published.

New course pricing - effective July 1, 2020

On July 1, 2020, the new pricing for our Mastering the SharePoint Framework course will be as follows:

• Fundamentals Bundle: $495
  • 16 chapters, 140+ lessons, 17+ hours of content
• Ultimate Bundle: $995
  • Includes the Fundamentals Bundle
  • 13 chapters, 90+ lessons, 14+ hours of content

Like before, this is a one-time registration for lifetime access to the course. Existing Fundamentals subscribers can upgrade to Ultimate for the difference of $500.

Future Mastering the SPFx course plans

Your enrollment is for lifetime access to the course. My commitment to you since I launched the course has been to continue to update the course as things change with the SharePoint Framework.

Up until now, the priority has been to record all-new chapters and reach the content complete milestone. While I’ve made updates to various lessons throughout each release, over the next few weeks I’m initiating a complete review of the course to identify lessons to refresh. We already expect Microsoft is planning some changes with SPFx’s build toolchain & I’ll be sure to incorporate those changes in the course. Stay tuned!
